Hello everyone!
Anyone have experience with the "MARPAT" cammies as made by Propper?
http://uscav.com/prodinfo/enlarged/25192L.jpg
These do not have the EGA in the pattern, are cut in ACU style, and are made of 65% polyester/35% cotton twill.
On the Brigade Quartermaster page where they sell these, some of the Comments by buyers say the fabric dye tends to fade easily. Can anyone cooberate this?

Well I can tell you from that picture that they are not cut ACU style.

The ones in the picture you posted are Tru Spec and have the same cut as the MCCUU. The color does fade. Washing them inside out preserves the color some.

x2, I have ACU cut Propper Multicam shirt and pants (I also know what ACU cut looks like). That just looks like standard Marine Pattern cut.

CORRECTION: the pic above is from the US CAV website, and it shows the TruSpec they sell. The complaints about fading were also about the TruSpecs.
The Propper digi cammies are much closer to ACU cut (with Mandarin collar) but without features such as the patch velcro on the shoulder pockets.
Unfortunatly, the pics of the Propper ACU on bdu.com are just "simulations"...they show the same blouse for all three versions (Woodland, Desert, Urban) colored in Photoshop or something...I'd like to see what the real thing looks like before I buy.

I'll see your "eyeroll", and raise you two!
Those are the same "colorized" pics as are on bdu.com.
Baffling. Why not just take pics of the real uniforms? I find this to be quite vexing!

Tru-specs typically fade more than other brands (except maybe some Asian knockoffs). I've had plenty of Proppers and never had real problems with them.

I picked up the Tru-spec MARPAT 100% ripstop cotton bdu's and they fade noticeably with each wash...and that's inside out with color safe laundry soap and drip dried. They're fine for paintballing, but for COSPLAY/Airsoft, don't bother.

the Tru-Spec 65/35 polycotton twill digitals are garbage. They are as stiff and heavy as tent canvas and fade after just one wash.
The Propper 65/35 "Battlerip" are only slightly heavier than the 50/50 nyco that ACUs are made from. The color doesn't fade and in my opinion they are good sturdy uniforms.
Propper also makes a 65/35 twill, which I have never fondled.
