Too bad the article is not mentioning brave
Chechen fighters taking a hospital with pregnant women in 1995.

And than taking a whole village of Kizlyar with hostages

and for the same demands - Leaving Chechnya alone.

Interesting read. However, it's hard to believe a surrender of Spetsnaz groups to Chechens. I would not expect any mercy from Chechens.

At the beginning of the war lots of Chechen fighters were just regular guys, who werent too radical....WIth time, situation definatelly changed and Chechens become more radical....still, what a great tactical victory by such a small guerilla force...

Nothing at all! Just that I would question where they got all their information from...basically I would rather read publications from Russian sources, as they understandably have greater access to accurate info.

Are you serious now.....Or you are just trying to be funny....Genocide is when you depart milions of chechen to Syberia.....You are just funny....I put this article because I was amazed how such a small force defeted "great" russian army...and their special units....Now russian's learned and did better job in the second war, but you should take a win or defeat like man...
