Perhaps you should think about this, what about the Arabic News, which were published first?
When you can't read them, (nor do I) don't bitch about them... :bash:

Arabic version gets updated instantly, because they have to send out SMS messages and what not. The english version takes a bit longer because not alot of people read it, so I guess they don't focus on it.

I can tell you at the time I first stepped into the original thread it was NOT in the arabic section either - but given the time differences there could be much to blame. None the less the coverage is rather disproprotionate, but again so are the differences in culture.

I myself am an iraqi and I think that al-Jazeera is rarely objective, they tend to twist stories and are more than often full of ****. Don't forget that it has been proven that some of their employees were/are connected to saddam's Baath-party and whatever al-qaida stands for. Before saddam and his regime fell they have never ever condemned his acts against the shia and kurds in Iraq and reported him as a 'regular' arab leader, whatever that may mean!!! And after he fell they started to air some of his horrible acts against his own iraqi people.
MY AVATAR SAYS ENOUGH ABOUT AL-JAZEE****!!!

And about al-Sadr, well what can I say: he's a very young and in my opinion very dumb guy who profits from the name of his father and his uncle. Those were the real heros who stood up against Saddam under his ruling and they had to pay the highest price. He's only doing harm to the iraqi people, let's their mehdi-people legally steel from others, indoctrinates them with a load of crap and that is why in Iraq he has been called more than once 'son of saddam'.
