Cool pics man. The airsoft scene in Russia is just awesome and leaves a lot to be desired out here in Canada. my GF is from Moscow and played a lot with many of the teams out there. I have seen some just terrific pics, videos, and the like. Very well organized teams!
How was the opener this year?

Suprisingly I figured the Russian airsofters would wear alot of Russian Kit...
Looks like alot of fun, feel free to post more :D
On BigGame has gathered more than 600 person from all Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia. Game went the whole day, without a stop, especially all liked night storms, a projector shining waves attacking, explosions a handgranate, shouts, very much similarly on the Apocalypse Now. For the first time used airsoft controlled mine fields which very much effectively "mowed" coming. All participants in full delight!

Ozzy,
What team do you play for exactly? I have seen a lot with the 1st Cav guys and some of the others whose names I cannot remember. Wondering if you may be known to my GF or not.

Wow, these are some cool photos you got here!
I especially like the ones in which the guys are dressed in Vietnam gear and all. I'm going to this Vietnam-based Airsoft scenario next week and must say that these guys have some really cool stuff on their disposal.
Especially that jeep they've got in one of those pictures.
If it just wouldn't be this hard to get Mitchell/ERDL/Duck hunter -patterned helmet covers into Finland...
TarwarWarrior,
Am the commander and the ideological inspirer of a command " HeadHunters ". Guys in our command long time are engaged in re-enactment on 1812 and the Second World War, therefore in airsoft we adhere to principles of reconstruction. At us 3 set uniforms: Australians to Vietnam( section RAR), British Marine to Falklands( Naval Party 8901), 7 Armored Brigade 1980-90.
This summer there is an idea to will playning war in Angola, against Soviet marines :fork: , it is necessary to put on on Battalion Buffolo

Those forests bear a striking similarity with Fort Benning, NOT in Russland.
Nice pictures. I didn't know any Russians liked American Marines.

That could be solved with a Dakota firehole, or by knowing that nobody is going to attack during your lunchhour.
I really wish there were more airsoft games in which every second counted. No stupid breaks, no nothing. You wanna raid the enemy while they're sleeping? How much you wanna bet they don't have 33% security at night? I'll bet my life on it.
DB
MrSkorotsnoy:
At us at night the basic actions also are developed. Me few times "killed" a knife when I peacefully slept in the sleeping bag at night .
Once us have attacked, when we had dinner... Circles from BB have done some flying as from real bullets, it was necessary to me wiping jam from the my face, in a lap to creep to a machine gun.
Frequently it happens, that the person has gone to bushes to celebrate needs of nature, and therefrom runs, one hand holding trousers, and by other hand is shot
Actually, for the sake of such moments we are engaged airsoft

Wait wait wait!
Is that an Airsoft Vss Vintorez?! Tell me it is because that is a beautiful kit.
I've been trying to make a replica for awhile now but it's way to hard to replicate such a unique weapon.

Any particular reason as to why almost everyone isnt wearing any Russian patterns? Is it something to do with the military / laws or do they just preffer to wear something else?
H'm... I think the incentive reason, same, as at employment by re-enactment to have an opportunity to stay the soldier of other army that in never real at us it will turn out lifes. Everyone has preferences, in the weapon, a uniform and other. I like the British army, and the Scottish regiments are more exact, I collect books, the àrò-fact, subjects of a uniform, I study a history regiments..., that I therefore was quite logical on àirsoft-games, I dress the form Black Watch.
I know, that in England and Canada there are airsoft-teams which dress the form Russian VDV and SPEZNAZ.... And it is normal, so we destroy a stereotype of "enemy" in our heads... And it is cool!

thos images are great. thx for sharing. I can just hide with my wannabe Spetznaz loadout when seeing all this die hard russian airsoft players :)
I would be interested in the PKM and VSS airsoft guns too. Any direct link to an english site with information of these airsoft replicas?
Trapper Industries in UK makes a Marui based VSS, but it doesnt match the real steel one. Looks weird if you ask me.
