Senator Kerry no vote; extension of unemployment fails

I find it amusing when John Kerry preaches on about supporting the Working Class in America and those unemployed but is absent during a crucial vote to extend unemployment benefits. The bill failed to pass by a single vote...and of course, his presidential election is so much more important.

How hard would it be to simply jet back and f*cking vote?

We need Statesmen not vote whores. People that actually do what they say they are going to do and vote the way the promised their constituents. If Kerry was my Senator I would be big time pissed. Dude is getting paid and not doing his job.
