Pack ID help (Parachute?)

Sorry me again...hit a brick wall on this one, looks like a pack big enough for a parachute.

It measures about 24"x18"x12"
It has has some pretty heavy duty "load rated" fixtures on it and it is reversable, with shoulder straps on the inside as well.

Using my powers of assumption perhaps the pack is to carry a packed chute at the ready in it's "black" configuration and to stuff an opened chute in for transport back in it's "Gray" configuration.

For all I know it may have nothing to do with parachutes at all and someone just got crazy with the webbing and a sewing machine..;)

Maybe a dropable gear sack. For putting in varius gear , straping it on your parachute weabing and jumbing with it
