I have copied only some illustrations from the "Archelia" book, but I also kept the references to the remaining ones within the text below in case someone wishes to see more of them.
I apologize for keeping most of the captures in Polish only. These are meant for Polish audience to appreciate spelling, grammar and wording coming from 17th century Old Polish. Amazingly, the language have not changed that much, aside from the spelling rules. There are certain characters that I could not render in modern Polish - unless I was constantly switching between Polish and Czech. It appears that our ancestors were using accented "a", as in Czech. On the other hand no accented "o" appears in the text - either it has been introduced to Polish much later, or the local printing press did not have appropriate fonts available. Also notice two types of "s", one German-like.
Translation of Polish captures into English would pose a challenge if I wanted to retain the music of the old language. But in most cases you will be able to guess the meaning of the drawings anyway. Notice the French and German annotations of the pictures. They are not quite readable in the resolution I have chosen for this presentation, but if you are really interested you can always go to the original digital source, given at the very end, and look at those illustration with much better detail.

In the second part a science of Artillery, both Theoretical and Practical, is given in conversations between a General and a Captain: that is, about Batteries and all needs belonging to it, and about other not seen yet Machines and Inventions.
In the third one, Information is provided that is needed for Gunsmiths in their Office: as well as short lecture about various igneous ingredients, used for war as well as for amusement.
