Some help on identifying this weapon would be nice. It's a 9mm, didn't have any safety (supposedly) and ww2(?) Talked to the guy in the photo, the guy whom he borrowed it from got no clue either.
thanks in advance.

Well, the stock don't go past the magwell on the mp18-28. The mp35 does, but it differs and the receiver is completely different. It looks more soviet than german anyways. hm

Artistic License?
On sten, more like a Sterling (ok almost the same)
Look like the artist combined several features. Who know may the Artist know about firearms or is completely clueless and imployed the famous "artisitic license" (change things)
I guess we will find out more. If it is real some body out here will know.

ZK-383? (http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/3200/3253.htm)
The ZK-383 is a heavy SMG of Czech origin used during WW2. Czechoslovakians used it, but only as a reserve. It was also issued to the Bulgarian military, as well as some German troops. It was in use after World War II by the Balkan states up until the 1960s. It was also sold to Bolivia and Venezuela where it were in use until recently with the "Fuerzas Armadas Militrares".
It is sometimes considered to be a light rifle, but the 9x19mm ammunition is typical of a submachine gun. ZK-383 is a large and heavy weapon, very strongly built. It stores the ammunition in a 30-round magazine. In addition, the gun has a bipod, a bayonet lug, and an extra long range sight, which is unusual for submachine guns. The rate of fire may be semiautomatic, 500 rpm, or 700 rpm.
