I just received my contract of employment as a Collections Officer at Imperial War Museum Duxford :) Really looking forward to working with historic airframes like this.

Also, it was pressurized, the first production aircraft with ejection seats and a very potent DH 98 Mosquito killer. Only 15 hours on the airframe before the war and 15 hours after during Allied post-testing. The NASM is in need for parts (http://www.nasm.si.edu/museum/garber/partsneeded_HeinkelHe219.xls) on the restoration of He219A-2, W.Nr.290202. Perhaps you can be of assistance..
