President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran has an international mission and those who believe it should focus on domestic issues are wrong.
Speaking in a mosque in Tehran Wednesday, the president said efforts should be made to reform both the domestic and international issues.
The president added, "The Iranain nation is an exemplary one in the world and if they are not present in the world scenes, then others will make decisions for them."
"The Zionists, who always wanted a country from the Nile to the Euphrates, are now happy with establishing their illegal authority in a small part of Palestine. This is because they have been slapped at face by the believers (in God)," said the president.
President Ahmadinejad said the warm welcome to Iranian delegation by the Bolivians was another manifestation of the glory and dignity of the Iranian nation, adding, "Iran's presence and activities in such countries is not only helping the poor people but it has economic benfits for us too."
Referring to his speech at Columbia University, President Ahmadinejad said, "The Zionists wanted to turn the event into a trial of the Isalmic Republic of Iran, but with help from the Almighty God, the plot turned into a scene in which nations could express their hatred with the rulers in the White House."
"The behavior of the government and media in the US shows that there is dictatorship in that country and people are not allowed to know the facts," said the president.
"The Iranian nation are not afraid of listening to others and believe that the whole world accepts the strong logic of the revolution and the Islamic regime," the president concluded.

Clown maybe, but the German middle-class and aristocracy didn't take Hitler seriously in the '20's and '30's. I wonder what the mullahs are playing at by allowing this fellow so much rope?

They voted for him and provided financial aid. NSDAP would have gotten nowhere without them.

The Iran situation is best put in it's context when compared to North Korea and especially Venezuela. Extrovert rogue states that are high on petro dollars.

Yes, American, British and Jewish financiers also played a role. But I doubt that they believed his rhetoric or that he would follow it through.

I don't think you fully appreciate the climate in Germany and Europe in the 20's and 30's. Jewish financiers? Never heard of it.

Well I guess my Distinction in modern history can be consigned to the waste basket. On the basis that you were never taught something we'll revise history, sorry, don't think so. You might need to burn some more candles and hit the history books.

Here is a start, google-fu and you will find more. You might research Henry Fords letters to Adolf Hitler for some interesting reading.

Not everything was as clear-cut as you seem to believe, the strange relationships of the times make it an interesting period. Enjoy.

You're not filling in any blanks. This is all well known and what I refered to as for the general climate.

I was wondering what specific jewish financiers you had in mind?

Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran had an "international mission" to stop Israeli hegemony in the Middle East, state news agency IRNA reported Thursday. "Iran has an international mission and those who believe the country should solely focus on domestic issues are wrong and efforts should also be made to reform international issues as well," IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying in a Tehran mosque on Wednesday.

Referring within the same context to Israel, he said that due to such efforts the "Zionists (Israel) who always wanted a country from the Nile to the Euphrates, are now happy with establishing their illegal authority in a small part of Palestine only."

"If we are not present in the world scene, others would eventually make decisions for us," Ahmadinejad said.

Ahmadinejad's remarks came before the annual nationwide anti- Israeli demonstrations - "Quds Day" - on the last Friday (this year October 5) of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The Quds (Jerusalem) Day is an Iranian initiative to call for the liberation of Jerusalem - the holiest place for world Muslims after Mecca in Saudi Arabia - from Israeli control and becoming the capital of a united Palestine.

Hopefully the whole islamic council take themselves closer to Allah by a mass suicide.;-) That would be surprising, starting a war wouldn't.

Theres a bible verse in the book of proverbs that says something like do not adorn your jewels on a swine lest he trample them over and attack you. Something like that.
