This is for all the guys out there who are planning to join the military. If Hillary Clinton is elected in 2008, would you leave the service, stay in, or play really cruel and evil tricks and pranks on her. rofl I've made a promise to my self that I won't reinlist if she's elected.

Warchild... from what I have heard, she has a damn good chance :)
Now, I am not enlisted yet (i plan on going reserves in a year or so) but I would THINK that professionally any member of the armed services would take it in stride. She would be the duely elected CinC- whether on likes that or not, I don't think they could do anything about it. heh.
First of all, I dont think she has a chance in hell of being elected to represent her party and even less of a chance to win the presidential election.
I would never get out of the military because the person in office is somebody I do not like, although I would have much more pride in serving under Bush or a republican.

Hillary's New Book "Lying History" (http://www.ijohn.com/images/lying_hillary.jpg)
'Smartest Lawyer' Hillary Flunked D.C. Bar Exam
Carl Limbacher
When the late John F. Kennedy, Jr. failed to pass the New York State bar exam his first time out, it merited front page headlines like the New York Post's, "The Hunk That Flunked."
So where are the headlines now that President-in-waiting Hillary Clinton, aka one of America's top 100 lawyers, has admitted she flunked the Washington, D.C. bar exam in 1973?
After all, Mrs. Clinton's genius IQ is still routinely touted in press write-ups. Earlier this month, for instance, New York Post gossip maven Cindy Adams described her as, "the smartest, sharpest, savviest lady in captivity . . . so brilliant and focused . . . so far, ain't nobody smarter to come down the pike."
But there it is on page 64 of Hillary's own memoir "Living History"; her confession that she flunked the D.C. bar exam:
"I was lonely and missed Bill more than I could stand. I had taken both the Arkansas and the Washington, D.C., bar exams during the summer, but my heart was pulling me toward Arkansas. When I learned that I had passed in Arkansas but failed in D.C., I thought that maybe my test scores were telling me something."

Poll in recent Time magazine had 52% of people said that Laura Bush is the spouse they would most like to see in the White House...34% said Bill Clinton is the spouse they would most like to see in the White House.
2008, we won't see Laura, but the thought of Bill...it's scary yet funny!!!
I'm going to go out on a leash and be stereotypical and say that most politicians are demagouge and calculating and the thing with Hillary is that...she is just too calculating.
Then again, she's one of those where it's "hate them or love them" type.

Hopefully Bush will pick Rudy G. as his running mate, then she will not have snowballs chance in hell. :bash:

Jeb Bush? Dude, that'd be awesome! But I'll tell ya Rudy G. would blow even Jeb outa the water. He's even said a few times on Fox that he's considering running in '08. Hey, what do you think about Arnold Swar(How do you spell his name again)? The terminator running for California Governor in '06?

Arnold running for Gov. in '06? what the hell?
I hear we're voting Grey Davis' ass out of office ASAP. Arnold would be a welcomed addition to this state....even if he IS married to a Kennedy ;)

That comment about assassination needs to be removed immediately. Hillary Clinton is a duly elected Senator of the United States, whether you like her or not.
I did a little magic to keep things within limits, although in this case I think his intentions were mild.

This is my personal opinion as a voter in the U.S., if I am to elect a female president, I prefer someone with, how do I put this, "gusto" like the former British Prime Minister Margeret Thatcher.

I went ahead and changed it to cruel pranks and tricks. The whole thing about assasination was a joke.
The problem is that hillary wasted no time after being elected to show that she was corrupt. In a meeting that one of her fellow democrats publicized, she mentioned that the party has to find a way get around the new legislation to block most soft money contributions. This was legislation that she heavily supported as a key point of her campaign against her republican opponent. She made these remarks 2 months after getting elected.

Seiyuuki, perhaps my attempt at sarcasm did not purvey itself through the written word as I had hoped.
No harm.

Just curious, but are there any non-americans who actually know what this is all about? I confess to being completely ignorant of US politicians and to some extent the parties too. As such, I can't follow this thread very well :)

Quick explanation pal, she was the first lady in the previous administration, ran for the Senate from the state of New York and won. She's now a US Senator. She is a Democrat, and quite liberal in her thinking. This annoys the piss out of the military who tend to be slightly more conservative in their thinking. Her husband was a multitasking son of a bitch though. Got to give him props for that. He liked interns and cigars, and sometimes cigars in interns.

Trident-za...another thing to note...
Hillary was not born in New York, did not grew up in New York, never done anything significant prior to her career in the Senate in New York (I could be wrong on the last one)...but for some reason beyond my understanding, New Yorkers voted her into office representing them.

Being a senator from New York looks good on a resume when applying for a position as POTUS.
If she became president the apocalypse must be near...
