This is my first topic that 'could' be worth talking about;

My question is basically, what things do you need to win battles, like Intel, Manpower, support, etc etc etc. I'm just wondering because you don't see a lot of these topics on the board here. :)

Hehe, please don't flame me. :D

Good intelligence from eyeball reconnaissance, superior fire power, qualitity leadership, good training (train hard/ fight easy, train easy/ fight hard and die), reliable resuply, qualitiy troops and good luck.
There is more to it than the above but I don't think there is one magic bullet, it is a combination of all aspects of the military that leads to success on the battle field.

Good intel, run the intel through as MANY sources as possible to ensure viability. And as our PMS says, "REHEARSE, REHEARSE, REHEARSE!"

Have all the men going in know the OPORD like the back of their hand. Have contingency plans in case things don't go as planned. After this, training and communication will primarily decide the outcome of battle.

Women, lots of vodka, massage, and preferrably a mobile sauna. :)
I'll win any battle to return to THAT! :lol:

On a serious note: well established logistic support is of the utmost importance.

In one word : €€€/$$$/any money you want, but a huge amount. No cash, no weapons, no training, no recon, no intel, nothing !
