How come the guy on the left has regular size ceramic plate but everyone else has tiny size?

Great to see the Argylls! They might be my future regiment ;) Well, the "real ones," since I'm already a Canadian Argyll :)

I'm taking a trip to Scotland and stopping by the recruiting place in Glasgow to see what information I can get. :D

The guy on the left is a New Zealand Soldier. The NZers are with the British down Basra way building stuff. NZ has mainly engineer troops in country, not full combat ones.
