sure if you have an FFL and Class III license or approved tax stamp by the ATF and an FFL.
Do not assume it is easy as one may think...
I do not see any actually M4's I see only legal barrel lengths and non-auto's; but then I did not look all that hard. I see 16inch not 14.5.

You have the seller send the firearm to a pawn shop/gun store/anyone with a FFL who lives near you and you go and pick it up.

For us here, they run a transfer through the firearms centre and they mail the firearm to your door. Good system for sure!

Yes, this is a great site too...
You can get get some fairly decent deals to boot.
ibstolidude is right though. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the firearms. You are NOT going to to a Class III firearms if you do not have a Class III FFL...
Or Law Enforcement? How does that work for the LE guys? Anyone?
Edit: They also have some fairly decent resources with the site...like a search system for local FFLs that will do transfers (not all will do so).

I am curious about the reason why you ask and the " :cantbeli: " remark.

Not that many hoops. Just need to go to a local FFL and get him to send a signed original copy of his FFL license to the sellor. The sellor sends the gun to the FFL and then you do a standard yellow sheet (4070 think?) and it is yours.
My local guy charges $20 over the total payed and shipped cost to handle the papers. Basically you are buying it from your local FFL and he is buying it from the guy selling.
Not hard if you have a friendly shop locally.
Make sure the weapon is legal according to all state and local regs or the FFL will not handle it.

Probably because he is relatively new.
I try not to keep tabs on folks till the REALLY piss me off...
I do not see any actually M4's I see only legal barrel lengths and non-auto's; but then I did not look all that hard. I see 16inch not 14.5.
So I don't know anything about firearms so can someone explain to me what the difference is between a 14.5 inch barrel and a 16 inch barrel?
I assume it has something to do with the "assault weapons" ban but please try and keep politics out of it so if possible try avoid any answers that include the terms "left", "liberal", "Clinton", "Commie", "Pinko" or "Second ammendment". ;)
Seriously though, what was the reasoning between a 16 inch barrel being bad and a 14.5 inch barrel being good?

Actually it's the other way around. The 14.5 inch barrel is bad because it shortens the rifle's overall length below the rather arbitrary length that is considered able to be concealed. There is a length that a barrel must be to be considered a "rifle" not a handgun and I believe it is 16 inches...

SHORT-BARRELED RIFLE - A rifle having one or more barrels less than sixteen inches in length and any weapon made from a rifle if such weapon, as modified, has an overall length of less than twenty-six inches. 18 USC
SHORT-BARRELED SHOTGUN - A shotgun having one or more barrels less than eighteen inches in length and any weapon made from a shotgun if such a weapon as modified has an overall length of less than twenty-six inches. 18 USC
It has do with concealabilty.

Yeah, I actually knew it was that way around, I was just a gumby and typed it the wrong way.
