Made by Propper International, a leading Defense Department contractor, with Gore-Tex.

Propper's 2nd Generation parka is a soft and quiet outerwear garment constructed of strong, durable and water-resistant Gore-Tex membrane. Each garment is made in the USA and is windproof, breathable, and has a moisture-wicking barrier for maximum comfort and durability in even the harshest conditions.

NOTE TO MILITARY PERSONNEL: THIS GARMENT HAS NIR TECHNOLOGY AND IS APPROVED FOR MILITARY OPERATIONS

A couple of months ago I was visiting a base, they had racks full of ABU goretex jackets and boonie hats...but the actual uniform hadn't come in yet. The "official" military issue ABU goretexes run about $170, but you might be able to snag a better deal online somewhere.

Yet more colors that blend in with nothing. SM wholesale reproduced it already for an upcomming movie, with AF approval. Wait until you see the blue-ish leather boots they have to wear. Who is designing this stuff? At least they could have made the colors blend in with some type of terrain, instead of following the ACU colors. Oh well.

I don't see Blue in the ABU colorway anymore. Was it removed in favor of just using UCP colors?

This Gore-Tex parka has nothing to do with US Army ECWCS Gen III. It seems to me that it's something like a USMC APECS jacket in new Air Force tiger stripes camo.

This is the new issue Air Force ECWCS gear.

Pfffft....no respect for class soldiering...

Without Air Force ground defence you have neat rows of molten aluminium that were once labelled F-22p-)

Wait until you see the blue-ish leather boots they have to wear.

The new ABU boots are Foliage Green in color and match the uniforms quite well. The Army should follow the AF example and adopt them also.

Why should a boot be Tan? Or Black? This is the modern era; we can make materials in any color we choose.
