Have that movie on DVD, awesome. That's my favorite part. I like watching it with 5.1 surround sound. You can listen and always know where the SAW gunner is; the sound moves around the room. Very cool scene. Took me awhile to figure out that Tecala was a ficticious place, and the movie was filmed in Ecuador. Pretty cool behind-the-scenes stuff on the DVD, giving some background on the K&R business.

They said that during the scene in the square where Russel Crowe and Meg Ryan go to the church and find the envelope, during one of the shots, everyone's eyes started watering. Turns out the local police fired tear gas into a rioting crowd just a few blocks away. So Ecuador was kind of a difficult place to film.

Very cool movie, one of my favorites.

It was to my surprise however that when I started a topic about "Realistic Modern Military Movies" no one said "Proof Of Life" Is there any other realistic modern military movies that you guys know about that Im not aware of?
