Muslims torture Christian to death

Muslim seminary students in Pakistan tortured a young Christian for five days and nights to force him to convert to Islam, according to a British human-rights monitor.

The students in Toba Tek Singh, Punjab Province, accused 19-year-old Javaid Anjum of stealing their water pump when they found him drinking from an outside tap April 17, reported the Barnbas Fund.

Anjum replied he merely was searching for a drink and said, as a Christian, they could be assured he would not steal anything.


Upon learning of his faith, the students accosted Anjum and took him to a seminary run by Maulvi Ghulam Rasool, who along with others, tortured the Christian for five days.

Anjum's tormentors ordered him to deny his Christian faith and embrace Islam. Finally they took him to a local police station April 22 and accused him of theft.

Police recognized Anjum was dying and informed his family, allowing them to take him to a hospital.

Anjum made a statement on video during his hospital treatment, which included dialysis on several occasions because both kidneys failed, Barnabas Fund said.

He did not recover, however, and died in the hospital shortly after 2 a.m. on May 2.

Barnabas Fund said Anjum was a university student studying commerce.

He was returning to his grandfather's house after a visit to an aunt when he was abducted.

The injuries, the British group said, were "horrific," caused by electric shocks repeatedly to various parts of his body, including his ears, which damaged his hearing.

His right arm and fingers were fractured, and his nails were pulled out.

Anjum's feet were swollen from beating, and he suffered contusions and lacerations all over his body.

He also had many internal injuries along with the two failed kidneys, according to the doctor's report, which noted he passed blood or pus instead of urine.

In many places his skin appeared blackened and oozed pus, and he could barely move.

The head constable at the police station where Anjum was taken, however, said in a statement it was God's will that he had to die that way.

The constable added the Muslims caught and punished Anjum without intending to kill him.

The seminary head, Rasool, has been arrested, Barnabas Fund said.

This part of Asia has a long and continuing reputation for religious animosity, Christians and Zorastrians have been persecuted and discriminated in India and Pakistan by both Hindu's and Muslims. Jainists and Sikhs are not always treated as equal citizens in India and Pakistan and frequently have to fight for the right to even operate a small business, yep Pakistan and India have a long way to go. :(

Guess what guys, as a baptised Anglican and a christian, i can say that i try to follow my religion as closely as i can. But some of you guys seem to think Christianity is a religion of peace. How can you say that? It was Christians that started the Nazi party in Germany. It was christians that were slaving the people of africa for over 300years.
To say Islam is supposed to be a religion of peace is wrong. No religion is a religion of peace except for Bhuddism.

yep but leatly something really interesting happend a mate studying theologie. Noted that the original testaments in Greek states that we (christians) should hold peace as long as we can and to try as much as we can to keep peace. This is not the idee of always keep peace.... actually we do beliefe that forever peace will come when Jesus returns. In other words we have the right also to defent orselfs. The turn the other cheek thing is good (and hard to follow) but we don't have to let people just kill us all .... hope you get me.

I'm slowly trying to get more info on this......... but I'm not in theologie that much.
I know howmuch bad things have been done by christians, and I know that over a lot christian groups have asked forgivness.
And In the end I beliefe we all will be judged by GOD. So I'm sorry I have judged Muslims, I should juse the time to search myself.

Haha im a christian by birth. I have my beliefs but i only go to church about once or twice a year.
I dont feel the need to have to express my beliefs to everybody. I have my cross pendant and tattoo. And thats how much my beliefs mean to me. But i am not a great christian. Maybe just a lazy one. ;)

NO thats where you are wrong (or you misunderstood). Slaves are forbbiden in Islam.

Every religion tries to convert people. But if they don't convert and you conquer that country then they people can live freely, do whatever they want but cannot break the muslim law in that country. Back during the muslim empire countries where given choices. Either they fight, or give up and live under the empires rule. Some chose to fight and others didnt (ie: koptics in egypt).

They gave bin laden money when he was in a-stan so that he would stay away from the kingdom. They don't want any trouble. As for the US and Saudi Arabia it goes more than just military ties. Most of saudi money is in the US, and lot of other investments. Also ties to key politicians. Its more like a key US ally.

That is a lie...the quran doesnt order anyone to convert anyone to islam... the quran states that u have to let a person find his own way...u cant influence it...and that slavery stuff u bring up is bull too...in islam.. lets say u capture a prisoner.... you do 1 of 2 things...
1) YOu can kill but more often then not you dont
2) You keep him a prisoner and treat him with care... You feed them...you give them clothes... etc ..that was what the Prophet (pbuh) did after the battle of badr. You might ask why would he do that.. beause everyone deservers respect... thats something majority of the world seems to have forgotten nowadays :roll:

Now as for the Slavery or the killing... that is a ARAB custom...please dont get the 2 confused... dont mean to offend anyone ...just want to get things straightend up.
