"Are you a trigger happy kind of person ? Is that what you wanted to do, shoot to kill ?"
Unbelievable.
He should have pointed his new shotgun at her, and asked her to leave him alone.

Is that her name? Rebecca Aguila?
Should write her a letter about how horrible of a reporter she is. Unprofessional, get her freaking facts straight.

i got this link from a different forum, and call tell you that there is a consensual agreement that your reporter is very unprofessional and to the point abusive. I am happy i dont have to listen to or get my news from such reporters, but at the same time appalled by the standard of your reporters and their "investigative skills" which are just bully tactics to get a shot that matches their agenda.
I would expect the news media to get their facts right and approach the news with a unbiased reasoning rather than trying to make the facts fit their story and agenda.

Freaking media a**holes. Just because you shot someone to defend yourself and your property doesn't make you some freaking psycho nut.
Fox now officially is leftwing tv.

Well, it's Faux News, what do you expect. My loathing for this media network has increased even more after watching this absurd incident. Every criminal becomes a victim, and a victim a criminal apparently in this PC world.

I agree, it is a problem with all media networks these days. I'm sure this incident pales in comparison to what other more liberal networks what do in this context.

and on yea.. Faux is ****ounced fō not faux so calling it Faux because people think its ****ounced Foux News instead of Fox News is quite wrong..
what a ****ing ****. yeah, lets accuse a 70 year old man who has been robbed many times of being a gun toter who likes killing. if the camera wasnt there i would close the door with the bitch inbetween.
i would kill to ambush her with questions about her career every ****ing day for a week relentlessly just to let her be on "the other side" of her job.

Yeah, i know it's ****ounced "fō" although it's spelled as "faux" if you are lampooning the word. Also, I was using network to refer to the "overall" picture of media giants.

Yeah, I'm surprise this came from fox, but the other news channels are a lot worse. On CNN they kept proclaiming the woman's love for guns which just made my blood boil.

This is what news ass hats do every day. When I lived in Oklahoma a local school cafeteria water heater expolded right during lunch time...the kids were horribly scalded and some died right at the scene. A dad, who lived right across the street from the school had run over and had found his little girl in the wreckage. The TV crew arrived about the same time as the emergency crews, and filmed him as he was struggling to carry his terribly injured little girl out...the talking ass shoved a mike into his face and hollred ..."How does it feel to have an injured child...can you tell us what your are thinking right now, sir...Sir!???" He just carried his child to the fire rescue services that were just getting organized at the scene. How he kept from smashing the btcvh "reporter" just amazed me. If I had been there, I would have done it for him. I was totally outraged by it.

Wouldn't change my statement if it were a male reporter.
Journalism is about as ethical as burglary, be it Fox, CNN, or even the Beeb.

Whether or not the story was shown, the way she treated that elderly gent was disgraceful. The poor guy has had to defend himself twice on his own from burglars which would be terrifying at any age, let alone at 70. He has done nothing wrong (or at least so it appears at the moment). Asking him for an interview is fine, but calling him trigger happy was offensive, as was the way in which she spoke to him (disrespectful tone, immature comments).
It was also stupid from an audience point of view - most audience members would support shooting burglars and just hate the news channel.

i agree what she did is wrong and stupid, but she may go after a story, but in the end its the producer that OK's it and sets it up to be transmitted, and i think that if a producer can OK some crap like that, then they too much face the public for their actions.

It just means that the company flushed her from the toilet eventhough I´m pretty sure that this whole thing was arranged by other people.
It always goes like this. First they want to create a spectacle or a scandalous story and when the public gets annoyed, they suspend the reporter or journalist who was just performing the given task. A pretty good way to escape responsiblity of course.

i dont know about you conspiracy theory , but i think the blame is not just her but also the people that OKed the story, and the producer,
I just sent an email to the station recommending they can that chick. Not that it really matters, but I think this is pretty outrageous.

First, someone orders a story and it gets done. If there's some unneeded backlash from the public, the journalist gets canned for a certain amount of time. There's no such thing as bad publicity and always make certain the little man takes the fall.
This woman might be "suspended" but in reality it just means she's going to be in the background for a while.

Whatever dude, I don't buy that. How much leeway a reporter gets over his/her story is a case by case thing, depending on who the station chief is, demographics, how big the station is, etc. But in this particular clip, I think she made it pretty clear as to what type of person she is. She struck me as being very ambitious and without a shred of tact or empathy.
