Well instead of retaking yesterdays pics I decided to make a new fig, He's a fictional PJ. I wasn't really going for realism, but I wouldn't say its that far off.

I printed out all the little patches from my printer.

Enjoy!

Except a Black Hawk in 1/6 would be about the size of a bedroom. ;) Well not quite, but still a bit on the excessively large size.

Don't mean to be a partypooper, but your aimpoint is backwards.

Talk about "tears of the sun" flashback.

What are you talking about. Tears of the sun was a good movie. What does that have to do with this. There wasnt even a PJ in the movie. STFU. I think its damn good.

He's talking about the fact that throughout the entire movie, Bruce Willis had the Aimpoint on his M4 mounted backwards.

That's exactly what I meant, I didn't mean to bash anyone or anything. I was only pointing out that the Aimpoint was mounted backwards, just as it was on Bruce's M4. And just to be clear I think Spartans figures (don't know what else to call 'em) are great, I just pointed out a flaw I saw.

Get it right before you tell someone to STFU, I was almost offended by your post. ;)

BTW I hate Bruce Willis

Just a thought, are there aimpoints available with the switch on the left side, to make it easier for lefties to use? He was lefty in TOTS.

Thats an interesting question, After checking Aimpoints homepage I found out that you just twist it 90 degrees.

Check top of page 3 and also part 2.1.2. for reference.

I actually didn't know that, almost too easy huh. :cantbeli:

I think you should remove one of the visor lock knob from the helmet. ;)

Just to clear something up. The only time Willis' Aimpoint is backward is for one of the publicity stills. In entire movie, it's correct. I guess the prop guy figured it out before they started filming.

Cool kitbash. My only critisisms would be that he should be using the M9 (the PJs I know would love to trade them for Sig 220s, the 1911 is no longer in the Air Force inventory and is not an option) Also he shoud have a Trigicon Reflex sight ,possibly an ACOG on his GAU 5. Security Forces, and some CCTs have the Aimpoint, but the PJs rejected them in favor of the Trigicons. p-) G
