cold weather is hard for equipment and humans mainly humans suffer if they dont have enough good equipment lots of burnings from cold (i dont know if they are called burn in english) you can loos tour fingers or your skin can stick with cold metal objects. The worst is wind.
When is cold moust of eingines have problems with start. Tracks of tanks can stick and break when you left them without care and then sudenly try to move. Electronic sometimes break and LCD monitors without special covers must be heaten before use. Good side is tht air is clear and breathing is easy (when you are used to hard conditions)
the cold freezes the hydrolics(sp?) in the gun makin it harder for the gun to move around

During my military service i was a member of a group making weather reports for artillery, drones, shooting tanks and so on....
Funny to see what happens when a drone starts without weather forecast... rofl
Are there any pictures of military weathergroups...? Would make me happy!
