Hopefully that's the XBOX version and they arcaded it up a bit from the PC version. I know almost for a fact that you'll be able to go into first-person though. The enemy AI looks absolutely retarded though...

Most likey. Look at RS3 for the PC, it was like the original RS games. XBOX, there are only four characters and everything is easier.

I don't know about mixing foreign soldiers in with your unit, but it seems that in alot of missions you work with the British SAS, so you may possibly work with KSK or other SOF units as well.

Damn, that trailer made me sad. :( I was hoping for a realistic GR once again with great graphics, but it looks like they dumbed it down to the level of SOCOM on PS2 and XBOX. :( Let's hope they got their act together for the PC version...

Well reloading in the open is a retarded move by the player, but yeah, I really hope they do something about the AI before release.

3 Things to remember:

1) the guy was playing in God Mode
2) more than likely game difficulty on "easy" and with arcade mode turned on
3) they have limited time at E3 to "show off" the special stuff - if they had played a long drawn out, 2 hour stealth mission, how many people would have stayed to watch?

There are a few videos now showing the same kind of footage, but with a better feel for the graphics. It looks better than the video released by Ubi. Still too early to say what the PC version will be like (only 70% finished with the XBox version), but it has potential.

Dont worry people.. There is NO WAY IN HELL Ghost Recon 2 is gonna be from a third person perspective.... You can switch to 3rd person if you want just as in the original but the primary action will be FPS style.......

Oh yeah, and the graphics are fully updated as well.....plus a whole bunch of kick ass **** like calling in arty strikes, fast movers, helo strikes, etc.....

Im looking forward to this game big time.......

ITs the best looking FPS I have ever seen...more detailed even than Half Life Two and people are calling it the sleeper hit of the decade.....It looks to be a great game and they still have a ways more time to work everything out........Im looking forward to that game even more than Half Life 2 hehehehehe....but you better have your system hooked up with the latest **** if you wanna play that.....

The game looks ok so far.

The video looks definatly like it was played on a games console. I do find it easier to play shooter games on consoles in third-person.
It does look to arcadish though. But it is early yet.
It's got some good potential, if they sort out the bugs and tweaks it can be a fantactic game.

Does it look like the SAS soldiers in those videos are using SA80s?

You guys had a problem with it looking too arcade-like? Think about it, they wanna show a long demo of gameplay that shows what the new game is capeable of. If all the guys on the squad were to get wasted when the shooting started, it wouldnt be much of a demonstration. Enemy AI was probably set to blind tard level.

The thing that really got on my nerves was the raido chatter. Really annoying and dumbed down. The things they said sounded like phrases from a TV commercial of kids playing with military micro-machines or somthing. Should be short, concise transmissions.
