I recall hearing somewhere recently that the Marines are going to transition from Coyote colored web gear to items made with Woodland MARPAT fabric. Here is one example:

Anyone have any more info?

That's a ruck sack, not deuce gear.

If they were, I doubt they'd be ordering their new MTVs in coyote brown.

Well, Tactical Tailor are now offering a lot of their MAV kit in MARPAT - supposedly at the request of the Marines...

I wonder about that. All other MARPAT gear I've seen has Coyote webbing and fastex buckles (see pic above), while the TT stuff has Green webbing and Black buckles.

Do you mean the nylon webbing/straps and buckles, or just the overall scheme of things?

TT uses USMC reg MARPAT for the basic fabric, but like I said the webbing, tape, straps etc. are Green instead of Coyote, and the plastic bucles are Black, not Coyote. The overall effect is to give their gear a different look than like in the pic above.

The Marine Corps isn't changing their issued gear.

I don't know why you're concerned with what Tactical Tailor is producing. They're trying to provide products that may/may not appeal to individual Marines' preferences, not for the Marine Corps' mass acquisitions.

that pack is an ILCE, that has been issued for some time now. Tactical Tailor has been coming out with a MARPAT line. I an not sure if any other companies are.
