Palestinian terror group Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades is now directly warning DPP.

"This party deals with the blood of the Danish people. It is dangerous," says spokesperson Khaled al-Jabbari, who brought up the subject in an interview with Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten in Gaza.

"Should this be construed as a threat? No, I don't threaten, I warn. We don't want to see the Danish people as an enemy, but this can get to actions," he says.

The spokesperson hinted that he himself was ready to actively take part in an attack against Danish institutions to defend the prophet.

Head of the DPP Pia Kjærsgaard was shocked by the statements saying that they will under no circumstances bow down to a terror organization and that the painting is a 400 year old picture that was used to symbolize freedom of speech.

So, in effect, 'vote for the people we (Islamists) don't like, and you are likely to be targeted by attackers'. I guess the political process should consist of threats rather than debates. Perhaps this is how you like it in your beloved Palestine, but please, keep it out of our countries. We like pluralism and representative democracy, it's not perfect but it's better than theocratic thieving murderers.

God damn these people are incredibly dumb. I guess this now means that Dansk Folkeparti will win a landslide victory. Not that that is a bad thing.

Uhm.. You know why they are threatening the DF(Dansk folkeparti) party right? its because they are using a muhammed-drawing on their campaign... kinda like the muhammed crisis drawings, and they arent threatening the people themselves, they are threatening DF again.. the party.

- No i am not defending terrorism or the terrorists they are idiots and i dont like them. but i dont like DF either.

They are not threatening the Danish People's Party. They are saying that if the DPP comes to power, the people of Denmark will pay. In effect, if you vote for the DPP, you are inviting the Islamist animals to attack innocent people.

"..This party deals with the blood of the Danish people.."

"..We don't want to see the Danish people as an enemy, but this can get to actions.."

Regardless of whether you disagree with the DPP or not, you cannot accept that someone from the other end of the world uses threats of wanton violence towards innocents to influence the democratic process.

Pia Kjærsgaard said they used a centuries-old picture of Muhammad, not one of the inflammatory cartoons. You're saying 'kinda like the Muhammad cartoons', it's far from it, there's no stereotype or bomb-in-turban involved. Just a picture. Probably one of those paintings made by the 'heretic' Muslims who didn't believe depicting Muhammad carried the death penalty with it.

The only reason they are threatening is BECAUSE of that picture. I have no idea what that picture has to do with freedom of speech but surely it has very little to do with it. I do disagree with DF but that has absolutely nothing to do with terrorist groups starting to throw words around from the other side of the globe. Besides the danes are already enemies of the terrorists and that is not because they are threatening us because of DF.

But i agree, they shouldnt bend to the will of terrorists, but they should have known this sh*t would come their way if they use muhammed or other stuff to do their campaign because they have had a lesson learned in the muhammed crisis people that believes in muhammmed really like the guy.

So what you're saying is that they should stop showing pictures of Muhammed, because someone with a green flag will threaten to blow up something/someone the minute they do. You're suggesting that we put limitations on our freedom of speech (yes, the freedom of speech includes the right to offend) in order to appease murderers.

Besides, lots of Muslims don't feel the urge to kill surging as soon as they see some guy showing a picture of Muhammed. The picture they used wasn't inflammatory, it was just a portrait. Is it okay to feel offended by something like that, so offended that you threaten to kill innocent people over it?

No problem showing it, its when people show it to piss other people off that the lines drawn. And DF isnt exactly known to love and cherish all foreigners. So what iam saying is that DF might have just wanted to piss people off with it, and say its for the freedom of speech but seriously, would you want a government that goes and pisses people off just to get to say "HAHAHA THIS IS FOR THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH MOFO!" Thats like dropping a nuke on a country and say, Yeah well we can drop one on you because you dont have one. And when i mean people i dont mean terrorists i mean all arabs, i respect their religion and i respect christianity and all else but i dont go trashing it all in public.

I wouldnt say that showing a picture is like nuking a country.
And the DF cant bend on terrorists demands, because of the voters. What would that look like now, if terrorists could tell them what to do.

Could someone post a link to the pic or is it againts this forum?

No no ofcourse not, just trying to give a picture of it the statement they gave with the picture. We dont even have nukes. But the picture they have, it has absolutely nothing to do with DF, nor their politics. And claming its for "freedom of speech" which in my mind is just to piss off people when they could have promoted their own political standings instead of doing the muhammed thing all over again.

I'll just say that most of the responses here are very interesting to me, from my Israeli point of view. I'll keep my reasons to myslef. Have a nice discussion and please ignore this post, if you don't understand my little hint.

Seems like that little ISlamic chicken has come home to roost...The Danes are not a people to be trifled with. I suspect there is more to come from this after the election is over. Might be time to buy more Ikea stock. Yay for the Danes. And, let other nations in Europe, who have been keeping their doors wide open for the Muzzies, take careful notice of these events. They are probaly next to be so threatened.
