Again, interesting viewpoints. And its posted on the NavySeal.com website, so don't just slam it if you don't agree with everything it says.

@Trigger: I'm posting for the sake of keeping all informed of the facts/opinions out there. I do not necessarily agree with everything the article says :)

Very interesting. I agree with the idea that more SF are needed. We should be using a carrot instead of a stick in Iraq.

Agreed - using a big stick when you aren't even sure who the enemy are is a risky business!

Its not really relevent to this topic, but I read a book about the US SF in Vietnam and the "hearts and minds" approach. One of the soldiers said something like "if you grab them by the balls and squeeze, their hearts will follow". I though that was quite funny :)
