The Norwegian flag is red, white and blue.
Blue is the color of the ocean, red symbolizes blood and love, and white is the color of the snow.

This is the one day in Norway when practically the whole nation is outside. The day is specially focused on the children. This is a day for them.

Norwegian Royal family watch the parade from their balcony.

Actually, we have. And we are damned proud about it. Like the military presentation. It is being kept to a minimum. I remember in one parade, the military beared arms. And it was an outrage on that. To bring rifles to the 17. of May-parade was a shame. They did not bring them the next year I tell you.

This year it was even a delegation from Keny that was here to overlook how we celebrate our Constitution-day, and wanted to inplimate that to Kenya.

Well, we had some changes. But you need to do that as years kick in and this & that changes.

Aah, got up at 2pm, had a sit in my living room watching TV for about two hours, went back to bed, slept till 6pm, got back up and saw Gangs Of New York. Then saw Waterworld (which sucks btw).
It's now 23.25 and i'm going to bed...again. Couldn't be arsed to do anything because of the extremely bad weather and generally mad and overcrowded conditions in town this day.
Probably should have made more out of it

Cheers,
Marcus

That I cannot understand. It is firstly the childrens day. We are celebrating ourselves, but in same time people from all over the world are greeted aswell.

And on your Svenska flaggans dag on the 6. of June is even a better day to have it. Since it is summer and all that.
