Santa Claus' HO HO HO is degrading to Women!

Just when you thought the PC nuts couldn't go any farther off the deep edge, there comes this story out of Australia:

Apparantly, the traditional 'Ho Ho Ho' laugh is degrading to women. The reasoning comes something like this: 'Ho' is slang in America for 'prostitute'. Thus, when you use this word you are verbally degrading all women. In order to avoid degrading women, Santa should now use the more politically correct laugh 'Ha Ha Ha'.

Fortunately, Santas in Sydney have rebelled against this and the company promoting this appears to be backing down. But it does make one wonder at how far off the deep end the Politically Correct left is capable of going!

Seriously, give me a break. Santa doesn't ****ounce it HOE HOE HOE (emphasis on O), but rather with a emphasis on the H, and less on the O, giving it a coughing like sound. If a Santa said HOE HOE HOE, it just sounds weird, and maybe australians can't get the tune right. I don't know.

For those not in Australia, the Australian newspapers, particularily the main one in the state I live in calls things news, when in reality as elsewhere, just wants to sell papers. It just happens to be affilitated with the one that listed this story.

I'd belive this if it were reported in The Australian, but then again they sell papers because they are a decent publication.

Reminds me of a couple of femnazis here complaining about engineering terms... it seems that what stops women becoming engineers is sexist terms like grease nipples etc. Strange really as I thought both males and females had nipples so how could that be sexist?
