Good, tks :P
In 2001 it was reported that a land attack cruise missile, designated Hsiung Feng 2E, based on the HF-2, has a range of 1,000km. Though only in its development stages, the HF-2E will be a major advance for Tai-wan. For the first time, Taiwan will be able to attack targets as far away as Shanghai.
Have the work of the Hsiung Feng 2E land attack cruise missile finished now?

The HF2E was tested earlier this year. It's range was proven to be 1000km, but I don't believe it's in production yet.

You mention "political system" here. Meaning you are disagreeing base on your assumption of china = PRC?

But in the history until now , Tawian is a part of China , how you explain that ?

Your history book must be incomplete. Imperial China of Qing Dynasty ceded Taiwan to Japan in 1895. From 1895 to 1945 Taiwan was definitively not part of China. From 1945 to 1949, Taiwan reverted to the control of China. In 1949 the People's Republic of China was founded, but from 1949 to today, Taiwan has never been under the control of PRC, bur rather under the control of Republic of China, RoC. In short, in the past 109 years, Taiwan and the mainland China were under the same government for only 4 years, 1945 to 1949. That's plently of time and difference for both sides to have developed different political system.

109 years is just a small part of the 5000years history. Who knows how the later generation will view this part of the history in another thousand years time?
But if Taiwanese really want break away, I can understand that. Though I support peaceful reunification, I can't be sure if I will be a hardcore seperatist if I am a Taiwanese given PRC treatment of Taiwan.

i think your history book is incomplete too . Japan return the soverienty of Taiwan to China , it is the history that the whole world accept , so i don't understand why the taiwan still have any excuse to be independent.

Japan returned Taiwan to "Republic of China", not "People's Republic of China". Those are two totally different countries, how can they become one? The history books were issued by government so the writer cannot write Taiwan is an independent country in it. Thats how the country control and foolish people's mind.

Dear Benny:
Since your view is so complete, I invite you to visit Taiwan with your People's Republic of China's passport. Let's see how far you get off the airplane waving your passport. And I invite your American, Australian, British or German friends to visit Taiwan as well. Just make sure they get their entry visas from their nearest PRC consulate. I'm also sure they will get as far off the plane as you.
I am not advocating anything. I am pointing out to you that there are 2 groups of people, one in Taiwan and one in Chinese Mainland. They have many many things in common, but they have not shared the same government in the 105 out of the last 109 years. 105 years are not long, but enough for these 2 groups of people to think differently on many things.
The politicians of the world will say many things, but you have to learn to accept that there are things that are true, even though the politicians say otherwise. The politicians will say there's only 1 China and Taiwan is part of that. You might even want to believe that. But that does not change the iron-truth that your Chinese passport and my Chinese passport are very very different, and you will not get a step into my China with your Chinese passport. Furthermore, your China has about 4 to 5 hundred SSM's aimed at my China. All very logical, all very complete, and all very clear, isn't it?
Cheers.

From the information i got, i think that unit is Royal Guard. I think there are 500 T86s send by Taiwan as a gift for Jordanian Royal Family. Also Taiwan and Jordan were usually training together in Taiwan.

The map of R.O.C
I think this verson of map will be change soon, becuase some people think the ROC is no longer has the control of whole mainland china, so the map should be change. But some elder people from mainland China are not agree with that.

It is act in violation of the constitution of R.O.C. to change the map, isn't it?

Suppose if I were to forcfully kick you out of the house and snatch away your belonging, does it mean that those things are no longer yours since you don't have physical control over them? Does it mean that you will give up the land title of the house? be it whether morally or legally?
Suppose if the communist were to invade kinmen and Matsu and took control over these two island, would ROC goverment will redraw the boundary of this area since ROC no longer have control over Matsu and kinmen.

Mind I remind you that the Mongolia is no longer part of either China (ROC/PRC), it is now an independent nation,
so obviously there's an error in the map.
