LONDON, England (CNN) -- A House of Commons session has been suspended after purple powder was thrown at Prime Minister Tony Blair, sparking major security fears.

they've already put a gas proof window on the public gallery at the commons, should be easy to stop someone going to the guest's gallery.

when I was a kid I went to the US senate they had a similar gallery that you could go to has that been closed off?

One of my old units had a reunion here in Washington last year and we went to the Senate gallery. I believe it isn't open to the general public and only those who make a request through their Congressman and are approved can visit.
