Hi all, I was just wondering how much attention is paid to the 911 conspiracy movement in the U.S. It is never mentioned here in Oz in the mainstream media at all..???

The thing about the 911 "conspiracy" theories is that they actually make strong points, and while they may not prove that 911 was an "inside job" they certainly show without a doubt that there are way too many reasons to believe things are not as they seem...

While I myself haven't made up my mind on the involvment of the US government in the tragic atacks of 911. I have made up my mind that there are simply too many questionable things about the attacks that can't be ignored.

Even the physical image of buildings imploding in on themselves after being hit near the top by airliners is hard to believe...add the fact that the current administration has used 911 as a springboard to go after their own corrupt agendas and the whole thing has conspiracy theory written all over it.

I guess it all comes down to whether or not people actually care who caused 911 and what’s easier to believe. If the country (and the world) cared enough, there are way too many factual reasons to believe that the 911 attacks were more than just Evil Muslims who hate our freedom taking out their frustration on the western world.

I hope I don't get banned for this,
-Dima

Well, why on earth would I receive an infraction for replying to an existing, open thread, posting a very relevant link? I made no personal comments, merely thought some of the facts in the documentary are plausable because I'm a living human being capable of deducing things here and there, and coming to conclusions? The whole point of the documentary, according to the creator, is NOT to blindly believe everything in it. He doesn't even outright say anything, like all important works, he leaves you only with questions. He doesn't even charge you anything for it. Watch it, look at the document sources listed, and see whether there is any doubt at all -- which there is of course. There is even developers of the towers speaking, and a BYU professor. This has now really spoilt this forum for me, I was having a nice time until today... jeesh. What a let down... :(

I know there are errors in there. But what has a more severe real-world effect: the errors in here or in national history books in Japan, USA, South Africa, etc? At least no one forces this kind of independent work down your throat. You are allowed to pull it apart without any authority telling you otherwise. We need more independent thinkers like that director. I never got the impression he blaces blame on Bush, or the US government. And even if he did, we should be allowed to say that, no matter how stupid most of us thinks that is.

I'm not trying to be provocative, but feel the infraction will disuade me from sharing information in the future. Understand my point of view? Just a guy asking all the "wrong" questions.

I'm sorry but things loose legitimacy when associated with BS.
All people are for independant thinking especially on this site....from what I've noticed anyway. But spewing BS is not independant thinking.

21. If you are a rabid believer in any 'the space aliens/Halliburton/the Jews/the government did it' theory about 9/11- don't post it here. We've heard it all before and we're sick to the back teeth of them. Punch yourself in the face instead.
