Spank stayed behind unfortunately. The Army vets wouldn't immunize him like they did the dogs and cats because they said that he may have stuff that they couldn't take care of. I was careful not to let him bite me. We left him with the CTPT guys with instructions that we would be back and he'd better be there. He was probably somebodys dinner by now. He was a hoot!!
We were on patrol one day and the kids were going crazy over him. He was hanging on the vest of a Ranger buddie of mine doing something. when I lloked over he was trying to pull the pin out of a stun grenade on my buds vest. Now THAT my friends would have been hard to do the paperwork on!!

BOOM You're F...ked: It was a set of claymores and if you got that far we could see you and were fixin to send you to Allah.
No, I left him with a CTPT guy that we trusted and wanted him.
Yes, they eat monkeys and anything else that they can catch!!

I've been meaning to ask what cameras you have used in the field. Some of the high res stuff I 've seen of yours had to be shot with a 35mm or a good DSLR.
Any comments about the reliability, toughness of any of the camera gear you've used.
I'm shooting with a new Canon 300D and I think the plastic body is highly suspect.
Anyway, just wondering.
great pics. shrek,
see the Ah chai.JPG

OPSEC question: Was a little hesitant at first until I started seeing pics of our guys everywhere and videos, and PBS specials and video game premier specials, yada yada. Then I figured it didn't matter anymore!
Most of the pics I post were from a Canon digital that I kept in a plastic ziploc the entire time and it survuved, some of the pics are from a Canon 35mm that died about half way through after the casing broke and the telephoto lens stopped moving, at all!!
Chai was everywhere, everywhere we stopped we got offered Chai, I drank until it was running out of my ears.
I'm not listening to my walkman in those pics! ;-0

so did you have the actual earpieces or just a great commo god, that would "radio shack" a couple of earpieces and PTT buttons to a regular hand mic by splicing and electrical tape?
shrek
