Hey, does anyone know what kind of gloves the military seem to be using now. They arent aviator gloves,, ut theyre OD and have a big black oval on the top of the hand, if anyone knows id appreciate it.

They are "Operator Gloves" made by Hatch.

That's a picture of the "shorty" version with a short cuff. There's also a version with a much longe gauntlet style cuff.

Awesome thanks, those are it? Is Hatch under contract by the government becuase ive seen alot of Spec Ops as well as 101st/82nd using them

I suppose they could be under contract. Or people may just buy them because they are good.

Yeah, i think they are issued to the airborne units, and those are Air Cav i think right? I also think ive seen some Marine Force Recon wearing em too. But man, those guys in the pic are loaded for bear arent they?

I don't think those are "issued". They are bought individually by the soldiers.

They might be issued, but I know alot of personell buy them at the PX.
