I'd think it's like enforcer said - its an airforce base.

edit: there was a vid posted somewhere on mp net a long while ago which I remembered after seeing these pics
here it is:

I don't know if it's the same base as in the pics but it seems to be a very similar Yugoslavian underground airbase.

nope. that base was located in Bosnia and was destroyed by the Serbs in 1992 lest it fall into Bosnian (or Croatian) hands.

Slatina is the reduced version of the huge Željava Air Base built in the late 60's following a Swedish concept.

Both are abandoned for the past 10 years not only because there is no more need but also because they were destroyed during the Civil War to avoid further use (being abandoned then (re)occupied). The area is still littered with mines and other unexploded ordnances and of restricted access.

Fascinating subjects!

Thats a great vid, one of my favorites.

At 6.51 a MiG fires a dozen unguided rockets at some poor schmuck.

I think it's GBU-28....

On April 28, a large, coordinated attack was launched against the
Serb military airfield at Podgorica, with 30 munitions employed
against such targets as hardened shelters, POL facilities, radar sites,
and aircraft and helicopters parked in revetments. During that at-
tack, a 4,700-lb GBU-28 “bunker-buster” was dropped for the first
time in Allied Force by an F-15E on an underground aircraft and
equipment storage hangar at the Pristina airfield. (By that point in
the air war, F-15Es had begun flying seven-and-a-half-hour missions
into Serbia directly from RAF Lakenheath in England.)

Perfect Hit, exactly what it was supposed to be. Tis is just the covered "fake entrance" a few meters in front of the real entrance, can be cleared quick and everythng is still save inside behind a big undamaged door. ;)

Sorry but if that was the case the vehicle would have SFOR, not KFOR, and this airfield has two entrances that I saw in 03-04, never got inside, and the hillside is cratered pretty well, its also listed on my map as VERY well mined in 04! and the ?? troops are using it as a Nato base, spent my nights on Bondsteel but made many trips to slatina, nice to see pics of the inside,

He's referring to 'Klek' in Bosnia not Slatina in Kosovo.
