Looks like Ron Paul is doing fairly well all things considered, and Giuliani has some catching up to do.

I wouldn't comment so soon, considering such a small percent of the vote has been counted.

John McCain pulls it out in NH. Now off to SC and Michigan.

I cant believe McCain isnt a better speaker with all his years of public office. His speech is well written though.

Hopefully the smear campaign the Bush's ran against McCain doesnt hurt him this time. Remember McCain won by like 18 points in NH in 2000

A bit of a surprise to see Clinton in the lead. It would be a huge victory for her.

I hope she doesn't win, I really like Obama. Plus I think she would loose against a GOP candidate.

Still 40% of precincts left to report.

WarriorMonk

gah what the crap Clinton projected to win with 60% of precincts reporting

I think it might be decisive if Hillary wins in NH. Obama's best chance was to gain momentum from these first two and hope it goes from there.

I think there was some voter fraud going on in NH by the Clinton Campaign, you know, like when Bush stole the election in PA in 2004.....;)

Just goes to show, the pundits and polls are for sh*t.

I actually think this is better for the Republicans. I think the R's have a better chance at beating Clinton than Obama. Obama is all fluff, flowers, rivers of chocalate, and blueberry bubblegum, but Americans will lap that sh*t up.

Sad part is, you're probably right. Too many idiots would fall for that crap.

Still too early to get excited. I keep remember Howard Dean, who shot out of nowheres to be top runner, only to blow up and disappear. Still kind of early.

I am surprise Obama is doing so well and Giuliani is doing so poorly with all the media predictions and support for candidates going into the primaries. Nice to McCain doing well.

I am surprise Obama is doing so well and Giuliani is doing so poorly with all the media predictions and support for candidates going into the primaries. Nice to McCain doing well.Giuliani's strategy has been to basically completely skip these early primaries in favor of focusing on larger states like Florida. I'd expect Giuliani to make his biggest dent on Super Tuesday.

As it is, Romney has 31.48%.....Thats just scary.

Thanks for the complement, Monk.

Been reading the latest talking head publications. I must share this ridiculous
bit of political horse **** with you.

As politicians, John McCain and Hillary Clinton have a lot of mutual respect for each other. They have traveled to Iraq together during a dangerous time in the conflict, and they lived to tell about it. Now they can say the same thing about New Hampshire.http://dailynightly.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/01/09/563444.aspx
It seems voting today is like a McDonald's menu. Lots of variety with limited times goodies like McRib(yuk!). Yet everything seems to taste the same in the end and give me heartburn.

I thought that was pretty asinine, until I understood that the reporter was probably referring to the fact that Hillary always runs the risk of getting hit by friendly fire...

I was surprised at how badly Thompson did, and a bit disappointed with Paul.

Clinton won but Obama trailed closely behind, I think Barack has a slightly better chance at winning the nomination.

It might be too early to say, but I'd bet on the dems winning the election.

Some of the Ron Paul supporters are now claiming vote fraud in webpages like www.prisonplanet.com (http://www.prisonplanet.com) and in various youtube videos.

Oh the horror.

Let's face it: I'd like to see Ron Paul receive a nomination, but it's simply not going to happen as long as he remains a fringe candidate in the eyes of the voters. The viral internet support he's been receiving is nice, but it doesn't exactly turn out the same way on election day.
