For interrogation purposes, I would keep a colony of "Paraponera clavata" or more commonly called "Bullet Ants"

The bullet ants are reported to have the most painful insect sting in the world. I've always been interested in this species of ants. Unlike most ants they do sting - most ants are incapable of stinging (like a wasp or bee).
By the way it called the "Bullet" ant because it's been reported that the pain is like being shot by a bullet - hence it's nick name. Furthermore, the victim will experience excruciating pain for 48 hours - its also called the 48 hour ant for obvious reasons.
I believe that these little horrors could be useful in interrogation.
The pain from a few dozen of these ants would be almost incomprehensible.
:D
or that their wounded friends might get the best medical care, even though interrogators know that neither would happen.
....and what happened to the geneva convention? Oh wait you don't believe in that anymore.
So countries like germany, and britian allow "stress positions" and who knows what else (they might be using torture methods from colonial days) but then when arabs do it its called toruring prisoners. hypocracy....

Interogation != torture. Making a Naked Human Pyramid with Iraqi prisoners? More like humiliation, but that's just as bad.
Now, ambushing 4 civilian contractors and proceeding to RPG, machine-gun, hack up, burn, drag and finally hang them from a bridge. Now that's probably torture.
The beheading of Nick Berg (if we wasn't dead beforehand...) is what I would call torture.
Not making excuses for the behaviour of some jackass soldiers but comparing the two is laughable.
