More than 100 Mexican dancers have obtained Canadian work visas in the past five years, making Mexico the number-two exporter of dancers to Canada after Romania, according to data published by the newspaper Reforma.
"To grant the visas (valid up to six months), the Canadian embassy in Mexico as in other cities worldwide looks at the photos of the candidates, their resumes and finds out if they have the necessary experience," the paper reported.
