i dont want to burst your"happy america wrong" bubble but intellegence is always gathered from present and past intel. if there is no no change in what happened yesterday they might conclude there is a chance it is the same today. if you think cia didnt have new intel i'd say you might be wishing to hard that the u.s. is wrong ;)
