Does anyone have any input on these kits? Look like a good deal and I've heard good things about the 20 rd Tapco mags.

Thanks in advance

I bought the stock, but no mags. I put it on a Yugo, so it's still long as hell, but I like having the adjustable stock and pistol grip. It looks like ass (I felt all dirty when I swapped out my old Butler Creek stock for this thing), and people with AK's and AR's will laugh and call you a wannabe, but the truth is that it really makes the gun easier to move around, IMO. I don't know why.

Mine shoots just the way it always has, but one thing to remember is that since the butt end is now made of plastic and air, it will make the gun feel front heavy. Also, taking off the stock and removing the trigger group is a bitch, because you have to remove the pistol grip to do it.

I have one of these stocks in Flat Dark Earth, dont let that fool you, its tan, a very bright tan, mine is now black, so just get that one. The whole stock seats well and there is no rattle when properly installed. I like it alot and would very much recommend this stock to anyone. The mags are great as well, I have the 20 round polymer mag, and its the best I have used so far. if you have any other questions, feel free to ask

Thanks alot for the info...ill go black.

I don't care about the wanna be stuff, I already have an AK, just want to get my SKS up to speed and a little easier to handle, plus the Monte Carlo stock that's on it right now is a bit loose and the mags are a pain to work with.

Thx again

In that case, you'll not be disappointed. It really does improve the handling quite a bit. In my case, my SKS is my only rifle, so I'd paint it pink with white daisies if I thought it'd make it just a bit better.

BTW, the olive green isn't a bad choice either.

Are you (and that rifle) located in the US?

It's just the thread is about US "compliance" kit and all p-)
