Muslims in police will rise up, Bakri insists
By Mike Hirst and Adam Lusher, Sunday Telegraph

Moderate British Muslims in the police, Armed Forces and Civil Service will one day revolt against the system to "crush it from within", according to Omar Bakri Mohammed, the notorious Islamic extremist.

Omar Bakri Mohammed claimed that the world was a better place after the July 7 bombings in London

In claims condemned as a cynical attempt to create division, the co-founder of the extremist al-Muhajiroun group said that Britain was "digging a deep hole" for itself by allowing Muslims into the Services and Whitehall.

Sad thing is I thought it would be a U.K. story, is this sort of fear really substantial? I mean it seems everyday that there is a media story of some kind warning of a Muslim take over of British Society? Why not have your politicians just take a stronger stance, I mean PC'ness is rife in Canada but it doesn't seem to be as extreme as it is being reported from the U.K.

I don't find it anywhere extreme in canada. I find most muslims here are quite well integrated.

Dont be too concerned about the UK and Islam or any other faith,as 90% of Brits I meet are refreshingly cynical about religion in all its forms, the teddy bear incident in Sudan made Islam into a laughing stock:)

We are the only true secular society on God's earth.....

seriously, 2nd that mate, we might appear apathetic as a nation in terms of religion and politics, but better that than extremism and fanaticism.

We always have one or two fu**wits spouting off every now and then, and if we were that way inclined we are surrounded by a lot of deep cold water and have a plentiful supply of concrete with which to fashion their shoes....but of course we're not inclined that way :)

90% of Britons may be post-faith, but it isn't the refreshingly cynical who blow themselves up.

It is against islam to commit suicide, but when your mind has gone clinically insane and mad, you'd do anything for revenge, even at the cost of your own life. Anyone watch the movie 'death sentence' with kevin bacon? That guy was crazy. Would God/Allah understand why he killed those guys? Maybe, maybe not.
