This CBC series aired for 2 years and covered the whole of Canadian history, its a fantastic series. I want to get them on DVD but they are hard as hell to find these days lol.

That seems to be a pretty interesting series, especially for someone (like myself) who doesn't know a great deal about Canada.

They are educating Canada's schools...for a fee of $990. Thanks CBC. Now we have someone to blame when CBC releases its "Canadian kids don't know thier history" report every rememberance day.

I'm going to order the first one soon.
I'm really only interested in the ones that cover the 7 Years War, the war of American Independence and the War of 1812.

For the First World War I want to get Norm Christie's "For King and Empire" and WW2 is already covered I have the NFB's "Canada at War" series which is fantastic.

Two weeks ago the airing of all Norm Cristies series ended on Historia (was horribly translanted though...). It covered WW1, WW2, Korea, pretty good series indeed
