I bet it's a cover story. I bet Rumsfeld and Cheney did an Abu Ghraib on him because of his poor performance lately.

Bush falls on bike ride

CRAWFORD, Texas (CNN) -- President Bush fell off his bicycle Saturday while riding on his ranch, according to White House spokesman Trent Duffy.

Bush, who was accompanied on his bike ride by his doctor, Richard Tubb, a military agent and a member of the secret service, fell about 16 miles into a 17-mile ride. The accident caused minor abrasions to his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees, but was able to ride back home, said Duffy.

Tubb treated the president on site. Mr Bush, according to Duffy, was wearing a helmet and a mouth guard when he fell.

Reporters were told not to be surprised if the president is bandaged next time he appears in public.

OK. I'm no fan of Bush, but this must be the most un-interesting post EVVER. See, I had to spell ever with two v's just to make my point.
If this is all you can dig up about GWB, please let it be.

I'm pretty much anti-Bush, but this 'news' is as interesting to me as the annual growth of grass in Iowa. (And I mean the grass on the fields before any of you start any witty remarks)

You need to find something else to do. No one gives a **** if some old man falls off his bike.

Does anyone actually know what the annual growth of grass is in Iowa?
(Just trying to spice up this thread)

It wasn't turned on so when he leaned forward it just tipped over. And he didn't even "fall". He' just tipped over and hit the ground on his feet running.

Exactly. If the gyroscopes are not turned on, there is no balance.
Another great example of a VIP who does not listen to a briefing simply because they think they are better than the average citizen :bash:

I had the opportunity (in an another life ;)) to demonstrate to some VIPs how to use a Segway -both of them did not even bother to listen to me and guess what?

They both fell off the Segway in front of the local press - same as for the President :cantbeli:
