sorry. ddnt know. my mistake
Bummer. I liked Giuliani's business sense. I can vote for McCain no problem though. I'm glad Giuliani is stepping down like a man instead of dragging the party down. Good man.

Bummer. I liked Giuliani's business sense.. Like putting all your eggs in one basket? Good business sense indeed. The man was a disaster and a million miles from a Conservative. He is all about big government buying things from big corporations that donate money for campagins. Kinda like Cheney's "business sense".

After Super Tuesday watch out for the endorsements .
Edwards endorsement of either Obama or Hillary will depend if he can get the AG job.
Richardson endorsement will depend if he's either the VP, National Security Advisor or State Department head.
Al Gore may be a critical endorsement.

Harsh words concerning a guy that cleaned up the US's biggest city and made it worth half a damn again. He may not be ideal but he has the means to back most of what he says as opposed to those who claim wonderful yesteryear pipe dreams with no means, practice and power to implement them. I like bedtime stories too but damn...

Not really considering the opinions of the city's employees, particularly the Fire Dept. It is also true he left the city with a larger deficit than when he took office. While yes he did help improve New York, I would give most of that credit to the men and women working for the city. Most of whom do not like Mr. mayor.

It's true, New Yorkers f*cking hated Rudy before 9/11. Then for a brief shining moment he was a real leader. But in the aftermath he lost the endorsement of the cops and underfunded firemans union members that lost their brothers in the towers. Some of which died do to sh*tty radios etc. Plus, the dude made Bill Clinton look like a choirboy. His own kids weren't supporting him, he was banging his girlfriend in the Hamptons and charging the city for her security, his 2nd wife tried to get him kicked out of the Mayors mansion with a restraining order.

Edwards has got to have one heck of a smile on his face knowing what he can get out of Hildabeast for his slice of the party.

LOL, very true. Rudy was/is a real horndog along the Slick Willy lines. He was not highly thought of by the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) guys either because of his budget decisions. He made a real name for himself with his RICO actions against the NYC mob, but the smart mob guys were all dying off/going into nursing homes anyways so it's not as if the Gotti/Gravano regime's were going to last long. As an Italian/American I can appreciate his contribution's to the Sons of Italy and other organizations but the guy has real issues and would have been nailing old secretaries in the white House in no time.

It's pretty damn amazing that Rudy is out, considering that he was a friggin' lock for the job just a few years ago. Politics isn't for the faint of heart.

He is content, his warehouse of skeletons is safe for the time being. He will get a cushy position on the board of something, join a hip think tank and influence policy that way. we can't even vote the bums out anymore. Then you say you do not worry about those "groups".p-)

Yeah well unfortunately, when the rich and powerful drop out of elections, they don't get tossed into a woodchipper...they're still rich and powerful. But that would be totally sweet if we could be rid of them forever once we'd told them "no". I understand he's already secured a chair over at the Old Horndog Advisory Council. Before you know it, he'll have convinced the president to require all MILFs and gMILFs to wear some kind of special badge on their clothes.
But realistically, in a world filled with Iran, North Korea, Al-Qaeda, China, Russia, melting glaciers, cancer, murderous Australian lesbians, bird flu and killer asteroids I'm just not gonna devote much time to worrying about evil Rudy Giuliani talking to the president. I just think there are bigger fish to fry, and it's not much more than a convenient distraction.
