View Full Version : Israel's apartheid
A UN human rights envoy has compared Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories to elements of apartheid.
The UN's Special *******eur, John Dugard, describes the regime as being designed to dominate and systematically oppress the occupied population.
Mr Dugard is a South African professor of international law assigned to monitor Israeli human rights abuses.

Hahahahahahahah. What a fking joke. Really.
I love this
But his report also condemns the two Israeli offensives launched to counter the missile threat from Gaza.
Four hundred Palestinians died, and some 1,500 were injured - many of them civilians. Three Israeli soldiers were killed.
Mr Dugard says that this was a "grossly disproportionate and indiscriminate" response that led to the army committing "multiple war crimes".
Most of the dead were militants.. So wait.. Israel must wait till Palestinian kill dozens of Israelis to start a ground op?

Awesome response for a 12 year old, really.
It looked like a solid report written by a SA professor appointed by the UN secretary general to present reports on human rights to the UN. I know Israel often thinks the UN is a joke, but that's their problem, really.

No, you should start cutting off power for civilians in the Gaza Strip....

LAL. Good post dava, really.
The envoy criticised Israeli controls on the movement of people
Might has something to do with the fact that they put bombs on their stomach and blow themselves up occasionally.
"House demolitions in the West Bank and East Jerusalem are carried out in a manner that discriminates against Palestinians."
Why doesn't he mention why these houses are being demolished?
Thanks!

Blowing themselves up ofcourse doesnt have anything to do with not having a future because some country is completely crippling their economy or whats left of it.

Ah yes, he apparently forgot ro mention Israel is showing how civil it is by not only killing the terrorist but also by punishing his/her family and the neighbourhood.

John Dugard, is a typical ivory tower moron.
Anything that comes out of his mouth got no value whatsoever, he doesnt even hide his bias. And allegations of apartheid, well for the lack of a better word, annihilate his credentials...
After all, what kind of a moron can say that Pali terrorism is a response to Israeli checkpoints and stuff, if those checkpoints and stuff are the response to Pali terrorism!!! (Pali attacks did not begin in 1967 but much much earlier)
If i were at the helm i would sue him for libel.

Well you know, they started blowing themselves up prior to crippling of their economy... as for having no future, BS! they got better futures than their "unoccupied" neighbours.

They are willing accomplices to the crime, the punishment is merited... and hey it worked, many of them began to stop their kids from blowing up...

Solid report? In what way? Its completely biased and does not even mention why Israel is putting those restraints on the Palestinian population in the West Bank.. He is one of the people who criticizes the "apartheid wall" without mentioning that it stopped suicide bombing... But what does it matter.
Maybe next time UN can appoint a professor that is an expert on Nazi crimes and he might compare Israel to Nazi Germany and Palestinians to Jews..

Does Israel cut power from the West Bank which is occupies? No. Gaza is not under Israel control so Israel does not own it a thing especially when Hamas is in control.

Sure but is it a smart thing to do? I mean punishing the full population for acts of a few men? Is it fair?

Just goes to show that you have no idea what are you on about. In 1987, about 180,000 Palesitians were authorized to work inside of Israel or in Israeli controlled industrial zones. In 2004, after 4 years of intifada only 30,000+ people could work here.
Did Israel did it for fun? Because we want to cripple their economy? We can do that in other ways. We benefit from Palestinian workforce as well.
So who's destroying their economy? Us or them?
Ah yes, he apparently forgot ro mention Israel is showing how civil it is by not only killing the terrorist but also by punishing his/her family and the neighbourhood.
Fact is, it prevented a lot of potential suicide bombers. If this makes them think twice, then I say job well done.

Why should Israel give them electricity at all? Let the Egyptians do it.
If Hamas would spend their money on infrastructure then they would have dozen of power plants..

Well this actually chicken vs. egg theory of the Middle East. According to history books it was actually Jews who started the terror campaign against British. So what comes in a response to what is very vague.
