The sling I currently have is uncomfortable. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a sling for my Armalite M15. I'm not looking for anything specific, just a good and reliable sling that will last for awhile. This is not an airsoft gun.

I've been using a Vickers Combat Application Sling for awhile now, an I highly recommend it.

CQD sling (Dieter CQB sling-Blackhawk). What you have now on it is pretty good, clean and simple, not with fancy-shmancy hooks, rope, etc. that can get caught.

+1 for Vickers. Simple and good.

I agree with the Vicker sling set up, there are two version, blueforce gear and Viking tactical. I run the Blue force but the viking Tactical has some very nice features.
you will need a side mount sling swivel... try Midwest industry.
Good luck.

I'm really into the Dieter CQB Sling from Blackhawk. Easy to attach/detach, lightweight, simple design.

I like the single point a lot, I run a blue force gear CIRAS single point, but if I am running it without my vest, I would use the Viker two point.
Becuase of the vest setup, i have a weapon retainer on the gear which will help me lock in the carbine, when i using my hands.
without the vest, I use the two point, because it give me better control and still can be used like a single point, because on my LMT MRP, I have four sling attachment points from front all the way back to my stock.
Another reason for the 2 point is the rifle length, the more weight on the front makes controlling the rifle during secondery transition and weapon retention more difficult.

I have this bungee single point sling (http://www.sogarmory.com/ProductDtls.aspx?id=102442) and its OK for my use, but you have to be able to add the single point sling adapter. The Viking Tactical is appealing, and I know of more than a couple of HSLD-types sporting them.
We ran Eagle 3-point slings on our M-4s for awhile but I did not care for the attachment straps, although I liked the 3-point sling.

I'm all for the Vickers. I run one on my C8 for work and love the thing. You dont need a side mount if you get the C7/C8 forstock adapter from here: http://www.cpgear.com/default.asp?mn=1.19.56&f=pd&pid=567
