post mil-sim scenario's here, I have a good one but its custom fit to my field.

Commando Scenario

During the past 6 months Rebels have been flowing freely in and out of our boarder. Within the past 2 weeks we have had
INTEL confirm that the Rebels leader has been in and out of the area, and may still be within the boarder region. The boarder
region is heavily patrolled by rebel forces, and because of this and the terrain we can only insert 5 man teams (depending on the size of the game)
at 5 minute intervals during the start of the operation (helipad will be in the middle of the track).

First Objective:
Sieze control of the Armageddon field and re-establish a secure boarder. This can be done two ways, by elminiating all Rebels
and over-running there position or by causing them to retreat. Once secure, a basecamp must be setup (and defended). The basecamp
can be positioned any-were on the Armageddon field. If the basecamp is over-run and the position is taken you must re-establish
a basecamp else-were.

Second Objective:
Recon over into enemy territory and search for the Rebel leader / drug stockpiles and explosives. The drug stockpiles may or
may not be mobile and may or may not be defended (same with explosives and the leader). To capture the Rebel leader you will need to kill /
over-run the rebel leaders position, once that has happened escort the rebel leader back to basecamp (if basecamp is over-run
while rebel leader is there he will be set free, also note if the squad transporting the Rebel leader is over-run and killed he
will also be set free)

Rebel Scenario

The Commando's are about to attempt to push us outta the boarder region and re-secure there boarder. We must hold the boarder
and still keep a constant flow of drugs / explosives over the boarder to finance our cause.

First Objective:
Disrupt there landing of the helicopters and engage all Commando troops, hold and secure the Armageddon field. If they secure
the field destroy basecamp.

Second Objective:
Move drugs/explosives to drop off points (which will be decided on game day), drugs must be carried in a box and cannot be
carried in vests/bags.

Third Objective:
Protect leader at all costs.

Definitions:
Basecamp:
An area to store players gear/ command post for the Commando team.

Heres pics of the field for a better understanding....

I took part in a Vietnam milsim scenario last Saturday (it was a really big game) in which the US and Vietcong sides were represented (well, who else ?!).

The Vietcong had a base somewhere in the nearby large forest (bunkers, defence lines etc.) from which they sent small guerilla squads into missions once in a while.

Then there was a small civilian village that us Americans had to keep eye on while defending our own base located nearby. The Vietcong had "recruiters" among the civilians and we raided the place twice in order to find them and catch them.

Usually we ended up executing (sorry) the whole bunch of civilians since we didn't know how to interract with them (come on, we pretended like none of us Americans knew how to speak Vietnamese..) and many times the civilian translators had already joined the Vietcong.

Then us Americans had a forward position somewhere in the forest called "****hole" that the Vietcong took over a few times, but we managed to get it back...

So this was the scenario, we conducted patrols and attacked small positions that the Vietcong had set up in random around the areas.

Real fun, and the Vietnam-feel was in it the whole time.

"...And that's why AMERICANS fight best as AMERICANS!"

Seriously dude. I'm going to play as a Finnish soldier (Simo Hayha maybe?) in the great patriotic war (yeah I know I can't remember the name).

Sorry, we didn't have any Americans around that Saturday. I really wish we would've, but that's another matter.

Anyway, I've seen a documentary about a group of people that reenacted battles from the continuation war and they were from the US, so I wouldn't know if the whole matter of "acting as Americans" is such a dire matter.

Besides, we had fun and the Vietcong lost.

Sounds like fun, so any comments on the one I've made?

I'm also interested in trying a couple different things...

For example you can call "airstrikes" which sounds an siren and then an offical /refferee walks into the grid were the strike as been called on and tosses smoke grenades, anyone in that area would be dead (and he'd toss them randomnly as long as hes still in the "grid" were the strikes were called and of course it has to be done by radio ;) ).
