Hmm, thats weird.
6 montths ago I was drinking 24 oz (which is obviously nothing major) of beer. Then i took 7-8 puffs of a blunt. After that I smoked ONE marlboro light. In about 5 minutes I was EXTREMELY nauseus, and sweating like crazy. I didnt even want to throw up, really hard to describe.
Well there, so I try not to mix.

This is really ironic. You wont belive how much easier it is for anyone 15-18 to get as much weed as they want as opposed to a 6-pac.
Also, in the highly unlikely event that you will get caught by NYPD, nothing will happen. They will arrest you if you have a 20 (20 bucks worth of it) or more. Furthermore, my friend was busted when he was 18. They took him to a precinct he spent the night there. By moring he got a public attorney who told him to smoke indoors next time. The verdict was that if hes clean (i.e. doest get caught redhanded) for a year, its off- his record (which it already is). And since he was 18, his parents werent informed, so he just came home and said that he slept over at my house.

Well, nothing will happen to you, but I wouldn't get to take the bar in July. Just a minor detail for me, but I do see your point. That is why I say I don't have a problem with it. If it was legal I still would not smoke mj b/c I don't like smoke in my lungs. But, since it is illegal and I REALLY need to work in September after passing the bar, I refrain.

That thing that happened to your friend is called diversion and its not availably (usually) for adults. That little episode he went through, if it happened to me today, would preclude me from taking the bar until July, 2005. That won't work. I'll die of starvation by November, 2004 at the latest. ;)

That happened to my friends last month. I dont smoke anymore, so i was boozing it up. ANyways, we went back to the guy and this one Persian kid, jacked the dealer and all his stash. So everybody got their money back. This was in Ottawa.

Using it really isn't as bad as you think aside from the fact that it's illegal. It's no worse physiologically than smoking cigarettes. The reasons I quit were just because I never really got that great of a high off the stuff and it's too much of a damn financial drain.

@muede: unless you're a dumbass and you buy your weed from a really shady dealer, you won't end up "lost in a trip and gone insane for the rest of your life." Even the harder non-laced weeds don't do all that much to you except get you high. It DOES change your personality over time but the real health hazards are no worse than cigarettes, in fact cigarettes are loaded with many more dangerous chemicals.

Sound pretty extreme to me for simple pot. Unless you're simply using rediculous amounts that no normal person could afford, or you're not using normal pot. Take this from a Dutch guy; it's not much different for your body (of course the experience is different) than good old alcohol, or cigarettes (though of course one joint is worth several cigarettes, but hey, who smokes 30 joints a day p-))
