This picture doesn't make alot of sense, because those ballistic goggles sure as hell weren't made for diving. Nor does he have and SCUBA gear or even a snorkle. With that setup, he would have to fin while trying to keep his head above the water (with a helmet). Looks like a very 'Hollywood' picture to me.

He could've gotten off a boat near shore. Look at the guy in the background.

ventalation i'd wager...it's not a kevlar helmet, it's more to protect yourself if u bump your head in confined spaces and the like....

Ventilation, that type of helmet is not designed to protect you from, shrapnel, or ricochet's it's just ment to stop you bashing your head

A few pix from one forum onto playing OPFOR to the US Marine landing at Shoalwater Bay, September 2003. According to the article there were about 10,000 personnel involved, including the US 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force.

The USMC meets 9RQR. We hijacked woot their Humvee and took them all prisoner.

Digging in, in a blocking position along the road that was the Marines' main route of advance. A grand battle ensued in which the umpires had to let the Marines attack three times because they kept messing up and getting wiped out. Even on the third time, they tried to flank us with infantry, which ended up with them getting caught by machine guns in a crossfire (frontal and enfilade) in the middle of a minefield.

good photos of the Aussies, nothing wrong with the photo of them wearing protecs and the goggles if they just got off the boat.

Is it just me, or does the M249 have no sights on it.
