Whats it for? What do you want to do with it? Do you want a pistol? Rifle? Shotgun?
You are 18, so pistol is out. What would you like to use your rifle for?

You could always go for a shotgun. In my experiance nothing is more fun then a shotty.

You might buy a book about basic English grammar - capitalization, punctuation, etc.

Get yourself a cheap 10/22, then go to EABCO (http://www.eabco.com/102201.html) and transform it into an absolute tack driver.
10/22 all the way baby..........

I like my 10/22. It's a breath of fresh air in world where ammo is worth more than gold (pretty soon that may not be a joke)
I like it plain jane though, nice light colored wood stock, stainless steel.....mmmmmm.
