Hi, I got some info on my grandpa who served in Korea from my uncle about a year ago. And the E-Mail is long gone and my uncle can't find the sent version. But my grandpa was in the U.S. Army between 1952 and i think 1956(?) He served in Korea and was the 1950's equivalence of a modern Combat Controller. The E-Mail I got said that he was in the Aus infantry.

Does anyone know what this is?

I'd ask my grandpa but he died a few years ago due to Multiple Myeloma.

Any insight would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

"Army of the United States" maybe?

Edit:
Good 'ol Wiki saves the day, I found this while searching for Army of the United States:

Well that would explain a lot.

He was drafted.

Thank you very much Ozzy.
