Just wondering, for the guys who might know either one these guys, is he any realtion to Larry Vickers.

For those who don't know: Vickers is one of the few published sources of reliable information on the U.S. Army's Delta Force. He is also known to be one of the driving forces behind Delta Force's customized M1911 pistol program.


Just doing some late night reading and saw his name and it looked very familiar, and decedied to see if there was any realtionship

From 1973 to 1986, Mr. Vickers served as an Army Special Forces Non-Commissioned Officer, Special Forces Officer, and CIA Operations Officer. In the mid-1980's, Vicker's became involved with Operation Cyclone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Cyclone), the United States Central Intelligence Agency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Central_Intelligence_Agency) program to arm Islamic mujahideen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mujahideen) during the Soviet war in Afghanistan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_war_in_Afghanistan).
