I asked myself this question for a long time now and i hope someone here on this board can answer it :

Letīs say some SOF-Unit, regardless where they are from etc, is on an hostage-rescue or HVT-raid (donīt know if this is the correct term), when one member of the team gets shot or suffers an other injury.
What will the team do? Will they fall back to safe their comradeīs life or will they continue their operation? Or will they split up and so on...?

I hope someone can answer this question.

Too many variables to give a definitive answer. During the approach ? During the assault ? Executing a diversion ? During the evacuation ?
I would advise to read books (non fiction and news articles) for exemples. SOPs are not for dissemination.
Those who have the right and the need to know this won't answer (I hope).
